List of Read Aloud Canadian Books Publishers & Authors

We are pleased to announce we have extended access to the Read Aloud Canadian Books Program as part of the Access Copyright licence for licensed public libraries.

Public libraries will now have access, in addition to K-12 and independent schools, until June 30, 2021.

Reach out to our team of specialists to learn how you can take advantage of this important resource after June 30.

Can’t find the work that you would like to use for an “online story-time”?

Access Copyright’s permissions team can help. Please email us at and provide the title, publisher and ISBN of the work and we’ll look into obtaining permission from the copyright holder. Please allow two to four business days to process your request.

Please note that Access Copyright will continuously update the list of available works as publishers opt-in to the Read Aloud Canadian Books Program.

Thank you for all the work you do. Please tag Access Copyright (@AccessCopyright) and the Association of Canadian Publishers (@CdnPublishers) in any Instagram, Twitter or Facebook posts affiliated with your readings so we can see your efforts in action.
