Roanie Levy to present on future of AC in St. John’s

Access Copyright Executive Director Roanie Levy is the featured guest speaker at the Writers’ Alliance of Newfoundland and Labrador’s (WANL) AGM on Sunday, October 25 in St. John’s.

Roanie will be discussing Access Copyright’s ongoing efforts to transform and make the use of paid or licensed content significantly more convenient than relying on free content. 

Roanie will also touch on the licensing challenges currently facing Access Copyright, including the impact of the education sector’s “fair dealing” guidelines, which promote the copying of content without compensation for creators and publishers.
