The 2014 Giller Prize will be bigger and better than ever.
While announcing the longlist for this year’s Giller, founder Jack Rabinovitch revealed, to everyone’s surprise, that the prize amount would double with this year’s winner receiving $100,000 and each runner-up to take home $10,000 which now makes the Giller Prize Canada’s largest literary award honouring fiction.
