“In a profession where most work in isolation, the Professional Development Grants awarded by Access Copyright Foundation help bring Canada’s creative community together for opportunities to network, learn from each other and grow new skills and expertise,” said ACF Chair Margaret Reynolds. “The grants awarded will be instrumental in the creation of new Canadian published works.”

ACF grants are awarded through a peer adjudication process administered on behalf of the Foundation by SK Arts. Jurors for the 2021 Professional Development Grant program were Lauren Carter, author (This Has Nothing To Do With You) and writing instructor; Jazz Cook, membership services coordinator for the Association of Canadian Publishers; and Jason Lee Norman, author (Americas).
